 Jacques is a long-standing Zappi and has been racing with the team since he was a youth.  As well as winning a number of regional races in 2015 and 2016, he has shown promise in UK junior national and UCI races. In 2016 he came 13th GC in the Ras Cymru, 23rd in GC in Junior Tour of Wales, and 8th in the Young Rider Classification in the Giro di Basilicata (UCI Stage race).  A completo with bags of potential for 2017.

For the 2017 season, we have the free-spirited Cumbrian Mark Donovan joining the Zappi junior team.   Mark previously rode with Beacon Wheelers and in the Basque Country with Beste Alde Tostadora. He is the current national junior cyclo-cross champion, and in 2016 carried his form across to the road where he won the sprints jersey in the Bizkaiko Itzulia (Junior Tour of the Basque Country), and the sprints jersey in the Tour of Pamplona. In the UK, he also came 2nd (Stage 2) and 3rd (Stage 5) of the Junior Tour of Wales. A scalatore who will have the opportunities to show how he has developed in 2017.

Jake has joined Zappi Racing Team from Identity Racing Team where he achieved good development in 2016. In 2016, he has shown potential on the climbs and as a time trialist and gained valuable experience in UCI, as well as national races in Spain, Italy and The Netherlands. His best results to date include: 7th place in the Zaldibar Road Race (Basque Country), 2nd on GC in the Holme Valley 2-day race, 3rd in the North West Junior Championship. He is also the current National Junior 25 mile TT Champion.

Lewis has joined Zappi Racing Team from the Inspire VCUK Youth Team where he achieved good development over the past 2-3 years, including exposure to European racing. He is still developing, and as things stands he looks a good time triallist and climber. His biggest results to date have come in the Youth Tour of Scotland (10th), Youth Tour of Txuma, Basque Country (7th), Youth Tour of Ireland (10th), and a long 20 mins in a 10-mile TT. We are expecting that he will be a strong developer over the coming two Junior years and is well-placed to do well in UK and European racing.

Harry Gillet has joined the Zappi Junior Team from Solihull CC. We are grateful to Solihull for their great work to date!  Harry will be a first year Junior in 2017 having achieved impressive development as a Youth A. He describes himself as a versatile all-rounder (completo), capable of climbing and showing power on the flats. In 2016, his headlight results at national level were: 17th on GC at the North West Youth Tour, 16th in the National Championships, and 2nd in the Scarborough Road Race. With two years ahead of him as a Junior he has great potential to go further nationally and internationally.
